The Department was established in 2013, with intent to provide opportunities for teaching, research, innovation and self-employment in the area of Fashion Design & Textile Technology.

The Department is located in the Academic Block, 1^st floor east wing but our dean is in the Second floor west wing right side. The department has level one to four B.Sc. students in Fashion Design & Textile Technology both regular and Part-Time programmes. The department also offers Diploma in Fashion Design & Textile Technology respectively. The department has seen two cohorts graduating, full-time and part-time students
